ISO 26262功能安全标准指的是要求车载电子电气系统在检测到潜在的危险情况，启动保护或纠正装置，以防止发生危险事件或提供缓解措施以减少危险事件的后果，确保产品安全运行，即便出现问题也能够最大程度减少伤害。在电动化及智能化程度最高的新能源汽车中，原有的机械部件被越来越多的电子器件所替代，复杂的系统使得功能安全变得更加重要。2018年5月，ISO 26262功能安全标准正式开始实施，中国汽车行业全产业链加速功能安全技术的推进，功能安全也逐渐成为汽车厂商显示其竞争力的关键之一。

China NEV Functional Safety Summit 2021
ISO 26262 functional safety standard refers to when the on-board electrical and electronic system detects a potentially dangerous situation, it can activate protection or corrective devices to prevent dangerous incidents or provide mitigation measures to reduce the consequences of dangerous incidents and ensure the safe operation of products. The system can also minimize damage if something goes wrong.
